It's been a while!! First we went on a family vacation, which was fun. When we returned home, I wasn't able to connect to the internet!! Life very different without! I didn't realize how depent I had become...for everything from news and weather to phone numbers! Anyway, it's back up and running and so am I! :) The photos in this collage were taken at Chester Bowl in Duluth, MN. I spent so much time there when I was a student at UMD. It was fun to go there again, this time with 3 children and a husband. It's even more spectacular than I remembered! I'll try not to go overboard with my vacation photos on my blog...but this is just a start! ;)

We went to the fair today. As she did last year, M really enjoyed riding on the 'car' ride! The bar could not have been in a worse spot as far as taking pictures of E, but these were too funny to not share! When my husband checked on her tonight he found her like this; hanging on to her helium balloon!! I moved the ballon for safety reasons but had to get a picture (or a few) first!

Today's challenge on 'the daily shoot' is "make a photograph or something circular and crop it with a square frame". I remembered after dark (of course), that we have green tomatoes in our garden. I wish I would have gone with that instead! Anyway, here's a tomato from the store on the window sill. :)

Tuesday {Project 365}

Today I took the kids for a little swim in the river. The water level is high and I wouldn't let them go deeper than knee level so it was more like wading but it was still fun. The splashes on the bottom are from the kids throwing rocks into the water.

Also today, I made a collage. For some reason I feel like I've learned and relearned to work with clipping masks many times. It seems like every template is different and every program is different. Now maybe one of these days I can set up a slideshow for my blog!

As I get back on track with my 365 project, I've been looking at "The Daily Shoot" website, along with some of my 365 friends. Today's theme is yellow. Well, this is....kind of. She is wearing a yellow pajama shirt. And, M is kind of yellow, if I had to pick a color. ;) The truth is that I took this earlier in the day before I knew what today's theme was. In this image she is showing me her "owie" and very concerned about it. Whatever it was she has recovered fully. :)

I've been making my ice tea lately with hot water and tea bags. It reminds me of the two summers that I worked as a waitress at a local truck stop, they made their ice tea the same way. Good memories of a fun job!

Hi! I've really missed blogging once again! I don't know why I can never just post one photo...it would make keeping up with my blog easier if I could! :) I'm trying to simplify and use only one blog, this one! I added the "follow" widget at the bottom... please 'follow' me! :~) I really appreciate comments. It helps me stay motivated. These blackberries grow wild in the alley behind our garage! They aren't quite ready yet, but my kids have already eaten several. The second photo is of a wildflower growing in our yard.
